For the 34th consecutive year, Port Huron Schools earned two prestigious awards for “excellence in financial reporting.” Both the Association of School Business Officials International and the Government Finance Officers Association sent notice of the district earning these accolades for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017. Port Huron Schools Superintendent Jamie Cain both credits and thanks Kate Peternel, the Executive Director of Business Services and the entire Finance Team for “their tremendous efforts year-round that contributed to receiving these awards.”
