Looking for ways to help your neighbors? The United
Way of St. Clair County has a new website that serves as
a hub for volunteer needs throughout the area. Resources
are being stretched thin while the community deals with
COVID-19’s current effects and the financial collateral
damage. Getting basic food and supplies to vulnerable
populations is at the top of the to-do list for the United
Way. Currently, there are several local organizations
looking for help in their efforts to feed families dealing
with food insecurity in the Blue Water Area. All of the
contact information for the various volunteer
opportunities is found on the
page, uwstclair.org/volunteer. Click on the coronavirus
picture on the page to get to the list of immediate needs.
The page currently has nine different agencies listed and
is being regularly updated.
