With the end of summer approaching, the St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Commission is hosting the 11th annual Labor Day “Trek the Trestle” Walk on the Wadhams to Avoca Trail. As part of the event, participants will cross the 640ft. Mill Creek trestle, which is the longest bridge of its kind in the state of Michigan. The five-mile walking event will be held on Labor Day, September 3, at 9:00 am starting at the Avoca Road Trailhead in Downtown Avoca For more information about the Labor Day Trestle Walk, stclaircountyparks.org
