Westbound Blue Water Bridge traffic will be held overnight on September 21st to accommodate steel repairs. The repairs will begin at 11 pm on Friday and are expected to be complete Saturday with the time still yet to be determined. The Michigan Department of Transportation will close the westbound span of the Blue Water Bridge for four periods of up to one hour each to accommodate work to replace the anchor links on the westbound span. This work is part of an overall $3.6 million investment in steel structural repairs to the westbound span of the bridge.
