This year will mark the 17th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center in New York. During that day there was 343 firefighters and 72 police officers that gave the ultimate sacrifice to save the civilians in the towers. The Port Huron Police Department will hold a Service of Remembrance on Tuesday, September 11th at 9 am at the International Flag Plaza, just north of the Blue Water Bridges. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Municipal Building.
