Michigan State Police, Emergency Management, and Homeland Security Division are urging Michigan pet owners to know the facts of pet emergency preparedness. It’s known that pets can get dehydrated quickly and can be easily over exercised in warmer weather. Some tips to keep in mind are making sure they have plenty of fresh, clean water when it’s hot or humid outdoors, give them a shady place to get out of the sun and keep them indoors when it’s extremely hot.
