The Port Huron Police Department is reminding residents that effective Saturday, December 1st the city’s snow ordinance goes into effect. Parking on paved city streets is prohibited between the hours of 2:30 am to 6 am to allow for snow removal. The ordinance is in effect from December 1st, 2018 through March 31st, 2019. Warning notices will be issued for the first 5 days to remind residents, thereafter violaters will be issued a $20 citation.
