The Salvation Army is saying “Thank You” to the residents of St. Clair County on behalf of all the lives they touched this past Christmas season. The Salvation Army was able to provide 654 families with Christmas Dinner and food to last a week. From the red kettle campaign over 1,100 children found toys and warm winter clothes under their Christmas tree this past year. From the Salvation Army’s kettle campaign, mail and special projects they were able to raise $365,000. The fund raised not only help the Christmas time efforts but also their food pantry, provide emergency rental and energy assistance and help run youth and senior programs throughout the year.
