The state of Michigan sees two new laws come in to effect Friday, March 29h. Public Act 338 of 2018, as amended, or the Paid Medical Leave Act applies to employers with 50 or more individuals regardless of full or part-time status. The new minimum wage also goes in effect on March 29th. The new minimum wage increases 20 cents to $9.45.
