This weekend as we honor Memorial Day there will be several chances to join in the celebration of parades throughout the Blue Water Area. On Monday, May 27 Harbor Beach will host their annual Memorial Day Parade beginning at 9 am. The parade route is north on Huron Avenue through downtown Harbor Beach and ends at Veteran’s Park on the north side of the Harbor Beach Community House. Next is the Marine City Memorial Day parade beginning at Broadway and Water St. with the parade ending at Water Works Park with Memorial Service. The parade starts at 10 am. In Port Huron, the Memorial Day parade will begin at 11 am and go through the streets of downtown. The Village of Lexington will also host a Memorial Day that will begin at 11 am and travel through the streets of downtown. So get out there and catch a parade to honor those who have served for our country!
