During the summer months, many people look forward to firework shows and using some at home. Well, if you live in the City of Marysville you may want to inform yourself about the new fireworks ordinance. Recently the Marysville City Council approved an ordinance which regulates the use of fireworks in the City. The new ordinance mirrors the State of Michigan’s new law regarding fireworks. The use of consumer-grade fireworks is allowed only during Saturday & Sunday immediately preceding Memorial Day, June 29 through July 4, July 5 if that day is a Friday or Saturday and Saturday & Sunday immediately preceding Labor Day. Fireworks can only be used from 11 a.m. – 11:45 p.m. each day that the fireworks are allowed.
