Seven businesses vied for the top spot in the 2018 Catapult Business Competition in Lapeer County on Thursday, January 24th. The final round of competition was held as part of the Annual Regional Summit, hosted by the I-69 Thumb Region with over 100 attendees. Local St. Clair County entrepreneur, Keith Gram placed second in the competition for hisSouth of Heaven Beverage Company. Gram also was awarded $4,000 toward his startup. Overall, the I-69 Thumb Region awarded a total of $40,000 to area entrepreneurs for the 2018 Catapult Business competition.
