Gas prices throughout Michigan continue to rise. Today the national average for a gallon of unleaded gas is $2.49 and in Michigan, the average is almost ten cents higher sitting at $2.57 per gallon according to the AAA gas price index. There has been a significant climb since last month at this time when gas prices were as low as $2.26, however, one year ago gs prices were roughly the same compared to today. So it may be time to fill up your tank before they rise again.
