The St. Clair County Dementia & Alzheimer’s Resource Committee will hold an education series program for caregivers of those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease on Wednesday, June 19, from 1 to 3:00 p.m. at the Port Huron Municipal Office Center. Speakers Matt Wallace and Ted Barss will discuss long term care options and legal planning for family caregivers. The program will also feature caring for the individual at home with the support of family caregivers, outside agencies and others; respite care; Adult Day Programs; and long-term care & financing options for assisted living, adult foster care, and extended care facilities.
