Well according to History.com the holiday has been celebrated for several centuries by different cultures, but its exact origins remain a mystery. So here’s some of the top rated pranks of all time..Back in 1957, a BBC TV show called “Panorama” ran a segment about farmers in Switzerland growing spaghetti from trees and that this year’s harvest was going to be big. They even showed live footage of people picking noodles from trees. In 2005 Google got on the prank train and said they were going to release “Google Gulp” a drink that would “…achieve maximum optimization of your soon-to-be-grateful cerebral cortex.” Some other news pranks include Big Ben going digital, Taco Bell announcing they are purchasing the Liberty Bell and renaming it “Taco Liberty Bell” and refining the circumference of circle or pi to 3 numbers.
