St. Clair County Road Commission is reporting that: Due to uncontrollable circumstances, construction to replace the Anchor Bay Drive bridge over Unnamed Canal with a new superstructure is now scheduled to begin on May 6, 2019. The project will occur under a single lane closure of Anchor Bay Drive until June 7, 2019 to permit the replacement of the existing bridge superstructure. Temporary traffic signals will be used to maintain traffic. Local residents are encouraged to plan for delays due to construction.
