Registration is now open for the Michigan Conservation Stewards program being held this fall in St. Clair County for the first time. Friends of the St. Clair River, in partnership with Michigan State University Extension, is offering a 7-week course of training including lectures, interactive learning, and field experiences. The Michigan Conservation Stewards is a volunteer leader training program designed for those interested in learning ecosystem-based management principles to help restore and sustain healthy ecosystems throughout Michigan.
