Bridge maintenance to waterproof the Marine City Highway bridge over Meldrum Drain will be starting Thursday, July 5th. Work includes shot blasting the existing concrete bridge deck and then applying an epoxy overlay. This will be a 1-day closure only. The posted detour for Marine City Hwy will be Church Street, Shortcut Road, and Palms Road. Local residents are encouraged to plan for delays due to construction. The project is being financed by the St. Clair County Road Commission at a total estimated cost for construction of $3,000.00.
