Motorists and travelers can expect to pay more at the pump for the holiday this week. AAA of Michigan says the statewide average daily gas price has increased about a dime over last week to $2.99 a gallon. Which is 69 cents more than this same time last year. Locally in the Port Huron Area pumps are averaging $2.85 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
