Near the tip of The Thumb lies a historical treasure, the Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse and Maritime Museum. This year’s Heritage Festival immersed visitors in the wreck of the Daniel J. Morrell and featured appearances by key first responders from the 1966 rescue.
