The Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first EDDY Award gala. President and CEO of the Blue Water Area Chamber, Thelma Castillo said, “The Eddy Awards promises to be a great evening of reflecting on accomplishments, enjoying the progress and points of pride for our region and celebrating some of the success stories we have locally.” The name reflects on local historical and inventing icon Thomas Edison. The Eddy Awards are open to the public. Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased on the BWACC’s website. The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 18 at Solitude Links. Banquet Center.
