It has been three months since the damage of the port in Marine City. The plans to restore the damage to a useable causeway are being finalized. An engineering firm has been hired and consulted with the contractors and is committed to a speedy resolution. Since the start of the Save Our Port campaign, the campaign has raised $12,500 and continues to receive funds. Their plan is now to collect funds until Monday, April 16th and present them to the Blue Water Ferry the next day.
