The peak hours that most people vote are from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and then from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The busiest times in the polling place tend to overlap in the morning and evening rush hours. Voters are less likely to encounter long lines if they are able to visit the polling place between the hours of 9 and 4.
