Because of the excessive heat over the next few days, St. Clair county has now made available a list of cooling centers around the county for residents to take respite from the excessive heat. Most of the centers will be available until 5 PM Friday evening with the exception of the Kimball Twp. Fire Station which will be open until midnight Friday and Fort Gratiot Township Hall until 9 PM Friday. Most of the other cooling centers are located in the library system for each township or city. A complete list can be found on the St. Clair County government Facebook page.
