As a result of the recent resignation of Karl Tomion being submitted, a vacancy on the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners representing District 2 will exist effective June 6. At this time the Board of Commissioners is requesting all interested parties who reside within District 2 submit a letter of interest and\/or a resume for consideration addressed to the County Clerk at 201 McMorran Blvd in Port Huron no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 12. Applicants must be registered to vote, and live in District 2, which includes the north end of Port Huron as well as Fort Gratiot and Burtchville townships.
