Tires and Treads Community Project is a nonprofit that collects shoes for local children in need at elementary schools throughout St. Clair County. Where the tires part comes in is when they donate the shoes and various items to the school they also host a car show. Over the years, they have purchased the majority their school shoes at Payless Shoe Stores. Recently announced the company is going out of business so Tires and Treads are asking for donations from the community of boys and girls shoes. Shoe donations can range from size 10 kids to 7 adult.
