The bi-annual National Drug Take Back Day, held on Saturday, October 27th at the St. Clair County Sheriff\u2019s Office and law enforcement offices nationwide was a big success. At the St. Clair County Sherrif’s Office, there were over 240 pounds of pills collected at the Sheriff\u2019s Office and turned over to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for disposal by incineration. This was the 16th time the Sheriff\u2019s Office has participated in the Take Back Day event; which totals over 1900 pounds of pills that have been collected from the community and disposed of properly.
