Work includes removing the existing beams and concrete deck, replacing it with new pre-fabricated steel beams and bridge deck, asphalt pavement, and new guardrail. The project was delayed do due the several days of rain. The posted detour for Goodells Road will be Lapeer Road, Taylor Road, and Sparling Road. Traffic will not be permitted across the South Branch of the Pine River during the closure. Local residents are encouraged to plan for delays due to construction.
