They were invited to the Sanborn Pool to swim for the final day of the pool season. The Port Huron Parks and Recreation Department is hosted the event and several area residents took their pets, and took advantage of the fun. There were only a few requirements for the event. The pets who attended needed to be dog and people friendly, and they were required to be spayed or neutered, have a rabies vaccine, and a distemper/parvo and a bordetella vaccine. The owners were asked to provide written proof of vaccinations.
