Alyssa Paynter- The fall fun is just beginning, and McMorran is holding Fall Fest featuring pumpkin carving, delicious food, and wonderful music.
Maddy O’Farrel- McMorran Fall Fest This is our kickoff to October. Uh, we’ve got lots of events coming downtown, and this is the start of it all for the Halloween season. Our Fall Fest here is on the McMorran Plaza in downtown Port Huron. It only costs anywhere from $1 to $15 to buy a pumpkin from Hack greenhouse and then paint it on the Plaza here.
Nicholas Haack- I would say this business is all about growing flowers, having fun, um just showing our passion for for growing stuff and trying to bring the community in on it as well. This is definitely our first time, and we were invited to do a pumpkin patch and bring a display of moms. I think we did a pretty good job, and we’re having fun doing it, and it seems like all the kids really like it too, so it’s been a lot of fun.
Alyssa Stern- Our favorite part is just being able to see everybody enjoy the product and just everybody being able to come out here and enjoy it. I mean, it’s a community event, so that’s pretty much what we want as a local business. We like to see everybody enjoying the products and coming together so.
Makayla Delong and Hannah Post- well this is actually our year anniversary being open for one whole year today so we’re kind of celebrating that over there at the restaurant but right now here we’re celebrating with churros we put some orange sugar on there to get the fall Vibes going and uh yeah we’re just hanging out today we got Jarritos and Mexican Coke down there as well I think downtown in general has like really like upped its reputation and I think right now it’s a good time to not only get your businesses out there and like do what you can to like support to get your business like talked about and things like that but at the end of The Fall season I think that it’s going to bring like everybody together you know being able to do little things like this like not every town has these little events every weekend.
John Bradshaw- Basically, I do shows throughout Southeast Michigan. I do a lot of campgrounds, Oakland County Parks, and Recs, and then I do a lot of city festivals. Well, it’s neat for the kids. I have grandkids and they love the pictures and they they come up here and touch them and laugh and I think it’s mainly the kids and there’s a lot of people want to do this and don’t have a clue how to do it they they see it on television and they come up here and touch them and actually see how it’s done. It’s educational too. One thing is, if you’re going to try it yourself, don’t be afraid uh you can never make mistakes because the people don’t know what you’re going to do.
Alyssa Paynter- Make sure to watch for future fall events coming to St. Clair County for them Coast TV. I’m Alyssa Paynter.
