Several Port Huron men’s modified softball teams from Port Huron’s City League headed to Midland this weekend to compete in the Class A & B state tournament. In Class A, the Secory flyers of Port Huron took home the state title with a win against their hometown rival the Rebels softball club in a 17-5 championship win. The Secory flyers will now head to the National Tournament that will be taking place in North Branford, Connecticut later this month. In class B, Port Huron’s Power 88.3 also claimed a state title defeating the Creek’s Grill 15-8 in the championship game. The playoffs for many of these teams in the Port Huron City League will be announced later this week.
