The Village of Port Sanilac and the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office has entered into a policing partnership that was effective Thursday, June 11. Under the partnership, Sheriff Deputies will began patrolling the Village per contract on an estimated 30 to 36 hours per month, with more hours being added during the busy summer months. In the event that Village residents need assistance from a law enforcement officer they are encouraged to contact Sanilac County Central Dispatch at or in the case of an Emergency call 9-1-1.
