The Michigan Department of Transportation will invest $1.7 million to resurface nearly 6.5 miles of M-29 from Remer Road to Riverside Avenue, and M-136 from Main Street to Kingsley Road. Work includes joint repairs and pavement markings on the roadways and resurfacing the Harsen’s Island carpool lot on M-154 at North Channel Drive. The start date is Monday, May 6th with the completion date being Saturday, June 1st for M-29 and Friday, June 28 for M-136.
