2011 Algonac High School student Ian Sass was inspired by his grandmother’s work with the Piece to Peace Quilters to make care bags for foster children. 8 years ago, Sass started what is known today as the Care Bag Movement involving people of all ages that are making a huge difference in the lives of foster care children and beyond.
