The Soup Kitchen of Mid City Nutrition is adding additional mobile food pantries for February and March. The mobile pantries are added due to the recent government shutdown and the early release for federal food program funds. The trucks will deliver fresh produce, pantry staples and protein at Mid City from 10:30 to 2 pm on Thursday, February 21, Thursday, March 7th and Tuesday, March 26th. Attendees are asked to bring ID and carry bags. Since the food pantry will be held outside Mid City asks that attendees dress appropriately for the weather.
