The Culinary Institute of Michigan, a division of Baker College, announced that its degree programs have received official Recognition of Quality Culinary Education from the prestigious World Association of Chefs’ Societies. The CIM is now the only school in Michigan to achieve this global endorsement, and one of only four institutions across the United States. The Worldchefs Recognition of Quality Culinary Education program recognizes educational institutions’ culinary and pastry arts programs that meet or exceed a set of global standards for quality, including evaluation of leadership, instructors, facilities, lesson delivery, industry and educational support, food safety and more.
