According to AAA gas price index chart, the state of Michigan has a lower unleaded gas average at $2.12 than the national rate at $2.24. However, gas prices for the state are up 7 cents compared to last week. Locally, in St. Clair County a gallon of unleaded gas is $2.14 cents and in Sanilac County, it’s a penny cheaper.
