St. Clair County Homeland Security and Emergency Management reports great news for county schools regarding school safety. The State of Michigan provided $25 million in grants to purchase equipment and/or technology to improve the safety and security of school buildings. Algonac High School, Port Huron Schools, Landmark Academy, and Cardinal Mooney High School submitted successful applications to help improve the safety of their schools.
