The Michigan Department of Transportation will close the westbound span of the Blue Water Bridge for two short durations to accommodate work as the final phases of the anchor link replacement approach. On Friday, October 19th the bridge closed for a short period of 30 minutes and today, October 22nd the bridge will be closed for 40 minutes beginning at 11 pm. The work is part of an overall $3.6 million investment in steel structural repairs to the westbound span of the bridge.
