August is National Immunization Awareness Month and the St. Clair County Health Department is reminding parents to beat the rush and get their children vaccinated before school starts. Vaccines protect children, preteens, and teens from 16 serious and potentially life-threatening diseases. Children can be vaccinated at either the main location of the health department or at the Teen Health Center located on Court Street in Port Huron.
