Friends of the St. Clair River is hosting “Wetland Wanderings”, a hands-on, family-friendly program at the Wetlands County Park on Wednesday, July 25 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Participants will learn about the wetland ecology and collect, sort and identify bugs, that live in the wetlands. Depending on the type and number of bugs found, the wetlands will be assigned a score from excellent to poor. These scores help track the wetland’s health over time. This program will be repeated August 22, 2018 to monitor for changes related to seasons, weather and human disturbances. The public is welcome to attend both sessions to register visit scriver.org
