Work to construct a new concrete roundabout at the intersection of Lapeer Road and Allen Road in Clyde Township is scheduled to begin on July 5th. Work will include construction of a new concrete roundabout, new curb, and gutter, new asphalt pavement, new drainage, pavement markings, and restoration. The project will occur under full closures of Lapeer Road and Allen Road until July 24th. The project is being financed by the St. Clair County Road Commission and the State of Michigan at a total estimated cost for construction of $805,833.07.
